1st Event "Ice Age 2"

On March 7 of this year we had the first event "0% Impossible" with the movie "Ice Age 2" in Room 8 of Cineplanet in Molina Plaza. About 220 children attended.

Three weeks before the event, we distributed flyers twice a week in the area of Viñas Altas.
The flyers invitation the children to receive tickets to a movie at the stadium a week and a day before the event.

The children received the flyers with enthusiasm, as we were told by several neighbors in Viñas Altas, because this was the first time someone was doing an event like this for their children. The emotion was so great that several of the children receiving flyers, helped us to distribute them and took us to places them where we could find more children. Handing out flyers, we discovered that each child of Viñas Altas is unique with a special personality. We noted as we accompanied some of them to their homes to ask for permission to come to the event... while we were walking with them, we had the opportunity to laugh and make them feel special.

The day of the distribution of the tickets, the children were there ahead of time waiting to receive them. We had two places to deliver them, because one of the collaborators of the project brought around 40 children who were in a park near the area.

The day of the event there were children standing in line since 8:00 am and were allowed entry at 9:00 am. Most of them came alone, while others attended with their parents, who had to wait in the lobby until the event ended because of the capacity of the room. Some parents were allowed to entry only if the children were too young to be alone.
Before the projection of the movie, we had puppets and the children could dance, sing, shout, and spend a real good time. Each child, with double-entry received a giant combo (2 medium sodas + 1 giant popcorn).

Finally, after watched the movie, we had a lot of toys to distribute to children according the numbers of their tickets. Then we proceeded to take the personal data of each one to be in contact with them for the next event (April 4). It was explained that the project "0% Impossible" started as a club in which they, who are members have access to all our events for free. As people were leaving, some mothers who had entered the room came to our partners and ask them what we wanted from the kids... why we were doing this event, to which we replied: We do not want anything in return, only treat them as kings and queens and see them smile, to which a special mother said: "It has been a long time since my son was as happy as he was today, and a long time since he laughed and smiled, thank you.
